Nuuksio National Park represents adventure just a stone's throw from Espoo: you can go hiking, rock-climbing, cycling, horse-riding or skiing here, depending on the season, as well as fishing or picking mushrooms and berries for the less sporty!At the Haukkalampi information hut (on Haukkalammen luontotupa, www.nationalparks.fi), which is the starting point for the hiking trails, you can learn a little more about Nuuksio's flora and fauna, in particular its famous flying squirrel. Snacks and maps of the surrounding area are also on sale.
