parish church in sandstone and granite, with interesting 12th- frescoes inside.
It’s one of the oldest in the département, and one of the few attested before the Norman Conquest. Built between 1089 and 1125, this Romanesque edifice is constructed of sandstone and granite. The interior features wall paintings dating from the 12th and 14th centuries. They were rediscovered in the 19th century under 17th-century whitewash, before being restored. Another original feature is the painted wooden vault in the choir and apse. The silver-plated pewter Stations of the Cross were created by sculptor Christian Malézieux, whose workshop is just a few yards away.
