Laksala is the only state-accredited gift and souvenir shop. The store offers an eclectic mix of products, ranging from tea and spice selections to colourful batiks, numerous arts and crafts, and a large collection of gems and jewellery, all stamped 'All in Sri Lanka'. The prices, although affordable, are adapted to the generally high standard of living of tourists visiting the island.
