On the shores of Lake Joux, this town is renowned for its watchmaking activities. The valley is also known as Watches Valley. On a completely different note, its pre-season ice hockey tournament, which brings together professional Swiss and foreign teams, is also very popular. In summer: water sports, mountain biking and hiking in the Jura forests or in the alpine pastures. In winter: Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, skating on the largest natural ice rink in French-speaking Switzerland or downhill skiing at Les Esserts. The beautiful hilly landscape invites you to take a breath of fresh air in the Vallée de Joux, whatever the season.
