Surrounded by the hills of the Begur Massif, this large village is a little corner of paradise on the seafront. Still untouched by mass tourism, even though new buildings are beginning to nibble away at the surrounding hills, it retains the unmistakable charm of its medieval alleyways. From its hilltop, the ruins of the 11th-century castle watch over the sea and its visitors. On the menu for your stay, laze and stroll along its beaches and coves, or discover the houses of theIndianos, as the town still bears many traces of the emigration of local children to Cuba. When they made their fortune there, they returned to Begur to build beautiful houses.
