Located on the outskirts of Bilbao, on the left bank of the Nervión River, Barakaldo is the second most populated city in Bizkaia with 100,000 inhabitants. This typical suburban town is not of great interest to tourists, but it does host many professionals at its exhibition center, where Bilbao's major congresses, fairs, concerts and sports events are held.
