JERUDONG PARK

The Sultan watches over his flock with kindness and to allow them to entertain them, he had an amusement park built to rival those of Disney. It opened in 1994 and is estimated to have cost nearly US$1 billion. The many attractions are worthy of a fair: pirate swing boat, roller coaster, big wheel, giant carousels, bumper cars... It is here that stars such as Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston sang for the Sultan's 50th birthday in 1996.
