Museum opened in 2015 in Bandar Seri Begawan, housing a collection of ceramic amphorae dating from the and centuries.

This museum, completed in 2008, but only opened in 2015, was specially designed to house a collection of ceramic amphoras from the 15th and 16th centuries. Nearly 13,500 pieces were found on a sunken wreck nearly 32 miles off the coast of Brunei during exploration for drilling by Total. The second gallery of the museum exhibits reproductions of models of the various ships that sailed in the waters of the China Sea between the 14th and 17th centuries to trade.
