Chegutu is a small town located about 120 km from Harare, with gas stations, banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, a post office... The whole city center is concentrated on the Highway, also called Queen Street, where restaurants and bars are lined up. All buses between Bulawayo and Harare stop here. For those who want to go between the north and the south of the country without passing through Harare, kombis to Chinhoyi wait for their passengers in front of the Engen gas station on the main road. To the northwest of the city there are a few protected areas, such as Hartley Safari Area.
