You want to discover the lake of Hossegor in an original and playful way? For example, by renting a Hawaiian pirogue, a Canadian canoe or a stand-up paddle? For one hour or more, with friends or family, the calm waters of the lake are well suited to the exercise, whether you are beginners or initiated. With a length of 2,300 m and a width of 350 m, the shores of this lake are never far away. You can sail to the first bridge, just before you reach the channel to the ocean. Also try the Goliath, a giant paddle for 4 to 6 people.

Designed by Arnaud Massy, John Morrison and Charles Bouhana in 1927, the Golf of Hossegor was created in the middle of a pine and cork oak forest, on a sandy ground sheltered from the winds. With a typically British layout refined by Cabell Robinson in 2003, Hossegor is listed as one of the one thousand best golf courses in the world by the Rolex Book. Shorts, tank tops and jeans with holes in them are prohibited. Gentlemen are also asked to remove their caps or hats inside the clubhouse. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner in summer.

Created in 2007, this association "law 1901" affiliated to the French Federation of Underwater Studies and Sports (FFESSM) gathers passionate volunteers. Lake or sea explorations, baptisms... Accessible from 10 years old, the Club has a slot at the Aygueblue aquatic center on Friday evening for winter dives. You will find this Landes underwater school at the Rey beach, behind the snack bar Le Cabanon, two fins away from the Hossegor canal; a unique shallow natural area. The deep dives off Capbreton are reserved for the initiated.

Golf d'Hossegor is a golf club located in Soorts-Hossegor. It offers a quality golf course and modern facilities. The club organizes regular competitions in which members and visitors can take part. Facilities include a reception, changing rooms, driving range and caddy-master.

Basque pelota is played in a special place, the jaï alaï. In Hossegor, it's a historic site nicknamed the Cathedral of Pelota. Basque pelota is a sport: the ball can reach speeds of 200 to 250 kph. That's why you need to wear a helmet if you're playing with a leather pelota. Discovery, initiation and improvement courses are organized for children and adults to discover the games of Chistera, Cesta punta and Pala. Competitions in Hossegor see the best national and international players go head-to-head.

A story that begins in 1994... The Hossegor Surf Club aims to promote surfing among young people from 3 years! Under the direction of qualified and passionate instructors, surfers learn efficiently the joys of surfing. Training course, individual or group lessons from 1h30 to 2h, equipment rental... All year long, the school will accompany you on the most beautiful beaches of the Landes, notably in magical spots such as the Central beach, the North beach (historical site of the club) and the White Beach of the Lake where the Stand Up Paddle hut is located.
