Located on a hill overlooking the valleys of Midouzon and Roux, Sainte-Christie is a village with vestiges not to be missed: its 11th century mound; its Saint-Pierre church built in the 11th century, reworked in the 13th, 17th and 18th centuries and once leaning against the castle of Sainte-Christie, whose timber-framed lordly dwelling is still in place. Attached to a branch of the Armagnac family, it was supported by a rampart made of unbaked earth from the XV-XVIth century. Also to be seen: the "hunters' house" topped by a dovecote and adjoining the north gate of the castle of Sainte-Christie as well as a section of rampart located west of the old castrum.
