Restaurant, one of the oldest in Eguisheim, with 100% homemade cuisine and hotel services
A fine gastronomic reference in Éguisheim, the restaurant of this hotel is acclaimed for its warm atmosphere and its 100% homemade cuisine. The chef concocts according to the seasons: homemade duck foie gras, bouchées à la reine, garnished sauerkraut, braised knuckle of ham, game stew, various flamenco dishes. The highlight is the "feuilleté aux quetsches" and the unmissable iced kougelhopf. Friendly atmosphere and service with small onions as well as comfortable hotel services!

lors du choix du menu, il n'y a plus de diamant de boeuf. Ensuite, nous attendons 50 min pour les entrées et nous sommes obligés de nous manifester pour entendre qu'il y a eu un problème en cuisine.
Noix de St Jacques et pâtes trop cuites et faux filet trop dur : déception totale !

A la suite d'un incident en cuisine (ça arrive), il faudra attendre de 12h00 à 12h30 pour voir arriver la tarte flambée (d'une qualité "moyenne"). Ensuite, grande déception avec la "choucroute garnie" pas très goûteuse (très neutre, pas très cuite et sans finesse) servie avec des pommes de terre totalement insipides, parfaitement pelées et rondes comme seules savent l'être des pommes de terre de la grande industrie sortant des sachets.
C'était vraiment un jour "sans" car les viandes d'accompagnement sont sèches voire dures et sans saveur. Dommage car le village est superbe.
