More than a village, it is a dozen houses dotted on a gentle slope facing the sea. Halfway between the small bridge (Mali most) and the locality of Pristanište, Babine kuče is most famous for the view of the lake and the island of Sveta Marija. It is therefore a popular place to stay on the island, even if you have to go to Pristanište to find a store and despite the lack of available rentals. Allow 10 minutes on foot to reach Pristanište or Goveđari. In front of Babine kuče, you will see Villa Jezero, a secluded stone house with a great view of the lake. It is rented to tourists during the summer.
