First mentioned in 1567 under the name Tholier, Dolleren - Celtic name di öller, water flowing - was decimated during the Thirty years War. Flourishing in the 1929 th century, industries such as iron and copper mines, granite quarries or the hundred-hundred-and-twenty-baked trades were ruined at the time of the crisis. Today, Tourisme's tourism and skiing allow the village of 400 inhabitants to live peacefully at the rhythm of a long tranquil river, the Doller.
