The main hall features portraits of the royal family, including Marie-Antoinette.
Built between 1453 and 1463, the castle was remodeled: from Gothic style between 1495 and 1519 by Maximilian I in Renaissance style between 1536 and 1570, then in Baroque palace between 1754 and 1773 by Empress Maria Theresa. This huge white building flanked by two turrets has the royal eagle, the emblem of the Habsburgs, in the middle. All the rooms are richly decorated. The main hall contains portraits of the royal family, including those of Marie Antoinette.

Intéressant palais pour se plonger dans la vie des Habsbourg, mais il est vrai que lorsqu'on a déjà visité les palais à Vienne, celui-ci parait moins intéressant...
