This small coastal village, an integral part of St. Catharines, is a well-kept secret of the region. The pedestrian street (Hogan's Alley), with its small outdoor bars, terraces and fine restaurants, was a great place to enjoy nightlife in the summer. Unfortunately, most of the institutions have closed their doors to allow for a revitalization project. Restaurants, condos and possibly a boutique hotel are expected to come soon. However, it is not just this street at Port Dalhousie. Here you will find good restaurants, including Murphy's Restaurant Harbourfront Inn with its fresh seafood, a beach (see Toronto by clear weather), a marina and small craft shops. A beautiful place to get it soft!
