At the north-eastern end of Lahemaa National Park and just under 100 km from Tallinn, the small municipality of Vihula had a population of just 105 in 2011. Along with Palmse, it is one of the villages visited during the park excursions organised from Tallinn. It is worth a visit mainly for its beautiful 16th century manor house, which today includes a magnificent 4-star hotel and an excellent restaurant. If you have a car, don't hesitate to take the time to discover the surroundings and to take advantage of the few walks that are available. As it is all flat, it is easily accessible to all
