Koosa is a small village, located about 180 km from Tallinn, with only about 550 inhabitants. If you pass through Koosa, you should not miss the Liiv Brothers Museum. The museum is located on a farm. Juhan Liiv was a poet and Jakob Liiv a writer. The main exhibit is the works of Juhan (1864-1913), a writer, poet and nationalist. He is very well known in Estonia and has given his name to a poetry prize, awarded every year on 30 April. The place is dedicated to them and to peasant life in the 19th century. Concerts and poetry competitions are regularly held here
