While in Punat, do not miss the islet of Košljun, only 750 m off the marina, where a Franciscan monastery was built. The enterprising monks have opened their place of life to the public. They maintain the church, the cloister, the outbuildings, but also a naturalist and ethnographic museum, a library and a store selling handicrafts. There is a pleasant Mediterranean garden around the historic building. On the spot, you can take a break on the rocks and take a bath, but there is no refreshment bar or snack bar (bring your own picnic!). Very peaceful atmosphere. For the crossing, ask at the tourist office of Punat.
