OSTERIA DELL’OLMO
Read moreThis osteria is one of the oldest cantinas in Frascati, if not the oldest. You'll find good white wine from the region here: on entering, you'll be asked whether you'd like to drink a liter or a half-liter. While it used to be possible to bring your own bread and cold meats to enjoy with your glass, the house now offers boards of cheese, ham and other small hot or cold dishes ( fagotto) . All of which can be enjoyed with a glass of the fine amber wine for which Frascati is famous.
LA VECCHIA FRASCA
Read moreA traditional regional trattoria, where local specialities are served, with all the decor that goes with it: checkered tablecloths, wooden chairs, retro frames hanging on the walls. On the menu fettuccine with artichokes and bacon, beef tagliata with balsamic vinegar and a small salad. The homemade antipasto is a show of hot and cold appetizers to taste, the pasta is homemade, the portions are hearty and the prices very fair. Go there on Sundays to meet the locals around their weekly family lunch. A sure thing!
