Good regional specialities to taste in a restaurant in Colmar.
The neo-rustic decoration of the Fer Rouge combines wrought iron, rough wood and winks to Colmarian artists (Hansi, Bartholdi, Schongauer and Grünewald). In the kitchen, the chef prepares good regional specialities: ham fondant with honey, spätzle caquelon with munster cheese, baeckeofe with pinot noir. In December, we enjoy a foie gras deliciously marinated with lemon and gewurztraminer. Small brasserie menu in the afternoon (tartes flambées, Alsatian planchettes...). An elevator allows people with reduced mobility to access the floor in comfort.

Belle découverte
On y passe devant depuis des années habitant dans une ville juste à côté, on a jamais osé y entrer pensant que c était un piège à touristes, on a bien fait d y aller quantité et surtout qualité sont au rendez vous, il est à recommander nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir : mention spéciale à la balotinne de poulet au munster

Ah la bonne adresse ! Probablement ma préférée à Colmar. Le décor à l'ancienne y est magnifique, du bois, du fer forgé, des fenêtres typiques... Et la cuisine, que dire de plus si ce n'est qu'elle est délicieuse. J'ai testé presque toute la carte et je dois dire qu'aucun plat ne m'a déçu. Pour moi, c'est un incontournable.
