Situated on a private peninsula in the Plaisance marina, this three-storey hotel literally puts you at the forefront of the marine fauna. You could almost install a fishing rod from your room window. The 163 rooms are decorated in a marine style (shell-shaped lamps) and each feature a balcony or window with a view of the ocean or port. A little nicer: Bicycles are available free of charge to walk along the Pacific Coast Highway.
