A bar-restaurant-library with a very friendly atmosphere. Typical Biellais home cooking with local products(polenta concia, charcuterie platter, meat dishes in sauce, torrent trout, excellent cheeses, dessert with local blueberries, etc.) and dishes that change daily. Good selection of local beers and wines. Friendly staff and affordable prices. The two-storey bookshop is also very well stocked.

A fine family-run restaurant created by a brother and his two sisters, offering fine local Biel cuisine with a twist. It is affiliated with the Slow Food movement, which favors short circuits. The zucchini flowers served with a parmesan crème brûlée are well worth the detour! The meat is very well cooked. Good wines too. At the back of the restaurant, you can admire the old ovens covered with 18th-century earthenware tiles. Trendy, uncluttered decor, meticulous presentation and service, and a terrace under the arcades when the weather's mild.

One of the city's historic restaurants, Baracca offers typical Biella dishes in a simple, familiar setting, where yellow dominates. The dishes on offer change according to the day and the season, but certain classics are always on the menu, such as the risotto, which is a must, but also the bagna cauda, or the braised beef(brasato) cooked slowly in Barolo wine. A fine list of Piedmont wines, too. Service is a little slow, but the value for money is well worth the detour.

Hardly outside the center, a very popular address for its large plancuterie boards, cheeses and frogs, with a wink to the culinary tradition of Emilie Romagna. Some good primi, tagliatelle at risotto through gnocchi, but the best plan remains the Tigella Menu at 10 € with beautiful charcuterie boards, a plateau of different sauces and a basket of gnocchi fritti (fried bread and hot served). A good address for dinner and aperitif.
