The rooms are comfortable and, in some cases, quite spacious, but it's the inner courtyard that really sets the house apart. Copious breakfast and laundry facilities. Convenient to sleep in a hotel for not too much money, and close to the center. But don't look for anything else, and know that even "cheap" is still a little too expensive for this Soviet-style establishment, which deserves a solid refreshment. In the best rooms you will nevertheless find a television and hot water. The reception hall, vaguely repainted, is a little more "smiling" but the whole remains expensive considering the level of services offered. Try to negotiate rates if you stay more than one night, it is usually possible.

Close to the park, a modern, Western-style hotel with clean, bright and rather spacious rooms. Hot water is sometimes temperamental, but always quickly restored. It's still very impersonal and lacking in character, but if you're looking for comfort, this is the best you'll find in Jalalabad. Restaurant and outdoor terrace along the park. Please note that some rooms may be noisy due to the many loudspeakers playing music in the park.
