CBT Kochkor's main activity is to transfer tourists to Lake Song Kul or to offer them accommodation while waiting for their transfer. You can also count on them to rent horses and reserve yurts around the lake. These are set up as campsites by Bishkek agencies and are indeed often overrun by tourist groups, but many nomads can also offer accommodation, which will be less touristy, less comfortable, but more authentic and cheaper.
