About 15 km southeast of Luang Prabang. These terraced waterfalls and their natural setting make an ideal place for a day trip. Picnic, swimming is also possible. Please note that there are more terraced pools than in Kuang Si, but the falls are shorter. The site is not very popular during the week, but it is very popular with the locals on weekends. In March, it is quite possible that there is not a drop of water left, in which case you can always go and see the cave upstream. Take a torch with you. From Luang Prabang you can get there by tuk-tuk, car, bicycle or boat.
