Traditional decorations and illuminations, several small markets all over the city, and an original Santa Claus parade.

During the Christmas period, in addition to the traditional decorations and illuminations, several small markets are organized throughout the city. In small chalets, or in the open air, are exposed objects of craft art (jewels, ceramics, confections in wicker...). Various wines (including mulled wine) are offered for tasting and sale, and small Portuguese dishes are available to take away. More original, an already traditional Santa Claus parade is organised in the upper town. It is the event awaited every year.
