With over 60 years' experience, Orbitur is the largest campsite network in Portugal, with two dozen campsites located from the north to the south of the country. Renowned for its warm welcome and quality services, Orbitur attracts campers from all over Europe. The range of quality outdoor accommodation on offer is highly diversified. From North to South, 22 campsites to visit the country
Orbitur was born on November 9, 1960, after ten friends had the idea of carrying out an innovative tourist project in the outdoor hotel business. Day after day, month after month, always united by the same passion, the group shapes the image of the company so that it appears to the public ever more colourful and attractive
Orbitur has been a pioneer in the outdoor tourism sector and a leader in camping in Portugal since almost the beginning of its activity. This recognition from its customers has boosted its commitment and motivated it to follow the motto that characterizes it "Trust us to camp in Portugal"
Product differentiation, rigorous policy and quality oriented services are the key words of the company. At the same time, Orbitur has invested heavily in leisure facilities and comfortable accommodation. Orbitur also plays an active role in the promotion of Portugal as a destination, notably by participating in the main tourism fairs throughout Europe.
The structure has a network of 22 campsites all over Portugal. Guests can choose from a wide range of bungalows, mobile homes and tourist apartments, all fully equipped and designed for their well-being. From the North to the South, from the Porto region to the Algarve and Lisbon, the campsites invite you to discover the country in a comfortable and friendly way for a holiday by the sea, nature or city breaks. Some have unique locations; in the pine forest with direct access to the sea, enough to reconnect with nature! The activities and sports offered in the open air are many and varied depending on the location, from hiking, cycling or horse riding to windsurfing.

Label Clean & Safe
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic the campsites were closed for 2 months by order of the Portuguese government. Since May 15 the authorization to reopen has been announced, however with restrictions, therefore we have to adapt our campgrounds that we will reopen little by little respecting the security measures and calling for the sense of responsibility of all
You're wondering what's gonna be different...? Certainly many things, starting with your attitude, which must certainly be different, on our part we will not tire of informing you that everything is prepared not only according to the guidelines of the Directorate General of Health but also according to the procedures determined by our voluntary adhesion to the Seal of Tourism of Portugal (Clean & Safe) to serve you even better!
