The Porto tram network (managed by STCP) has three lines in circulation. These are ideal for sightseeing, as the tram routes pass through the most emblematic places in the city. Line 1 runs between the historic centre of Porto and the Passeio Alegre garden, along the Douro. Line 18 runs between Massarelos and the Carmo. Line 22 runs through the emblematic streets of downtown Porto, between the University of Porto and Batalha. The timetable varies from 8am-9am to 8pm-8.30pm each day.
