Established in 1934, Clines Corner is not a town but the largest rest stop in the area. This store, located at the junction of Highway 285 and Interstate 40, opened in 1934. It was then a gas station/cafe. It was moved three times by its owner to stay on the route of 66, then expanded into a complex that includes a huge gift store, cafe and restaurant. From the sought-after Painted Pony Collection, to fine leathers and moccasins, to toys, T-shirts and hats, to authentic Indian crafts, Cline has become a must-see.
