In the downtown area, the First National Bank is one of three banks designed by the great architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The old Richardsonian Romanesque train station dates back to 1891. A short distance away, you can see the top of the Wind Mill (Carriage House Ln). You can then go and see the beautiful gothic style church (Pioneer Gothic Church - 201 North Franklin St), before reaching, on Route 66, The Marathon Oil Station, built in 1933. We will not miss either the old Shell station (Route 66 Tire & auto), renovated and located at a hundred meters from there, recognizable with the superb Ferrari painted on its frontage
