A must-visit address for Corfiote gastronomy: Franco-Greek Aristotelis Megoulas is one of those meticulous chefs who work tirelessly with only local, seasonal produce, and the results speak for themselves. We were extraordinarily surprised by the finesse of his Greek, French and Italian-inspired "cucina nobile", and by the quality of the dishes served. We can't recommend it highly enough, and happy diners keep coming back. The setting is not to be outdone, on a raised piazza shaded by trees.

One of Corfu's most traditional restaurants, with a loyal local clientele and fast service. In the old town, behind Liston, this restaurant has been in existence since 1932. Greek and Mediterranean cuisine: hot and cold mezzes, specialties, pasta and desserts. Everything is homemade, everything is very good, the presentation of the dishes is original and the service is meticulous. Not to be outdone, the location exudes a certain elegance and romantic charm in this busy, bustling street. Don't hesitate to talk to Periklis, the owner: what a character!

This is probably the best place in town to eat fish! In winter or autumn, you can enjoy the divine fish soup here. Otherwise, you'll have plenty of choice and probably want to come back. Fresh cod on the grill with steamed vegetables, spaghetti with prawns, half-cooked tuna served with celery purée, squid carpaccio, not to mention fresh lobster with pasta: everything is delicious! What's more, the decoration and presentation of the dishes are meticulous.

A very good address for Mediterranean and Italian cuisine. Giovanni and his team try to keep the dishes authentic, simply prepared but always very tasty. Pizzas, pastas and seafood are on the menu, with a little luck you can try the pasta al nero di seppia, a delicious dish with squid ink. The place is charming at the end of the Spianada square and its large kiosk offering a view of the old fort and the marina below. If you miss the cucina italiana , this is the place to come and eat.

Rendezvous in a superb address and its beautiful setting. "Avli" means the small courtyard of the house in Greek. And it is true and well named! This restaurant makes you feel at home, between family cooking and warm atmosphere. Enjoy great seafood, fish, or other local specialties, in a relaxing setting overlooking the sea and the fort, away from the city center.The dishes are delicious (and rather hearty). We recommend you to share them, Greek style!

Going down to the old port, between Donzelot Street and Zavitsianou Street, you will find this lovely tavern sheltered by a large patio. Nothing will disturb a meal that only the boats accompany. The place has a warm atmosphere thanks to the colours of the furniture and the hospitality of the waiters. The Greeks mix with the tourists in one of those cacophonies that one gets used to with a smile. Right in front of the port, with a beautiful view, one goes there rather to have lunch and to watch the maritime life.

Another excellent Italian restaurant in the old town. Despite the moderate prices, the cuisine is fine, with white tablecloths, a romantic setting and very good Greek wines. The food is fresh and perfectly seasoned. You may want to have a beef carpaccio followed by a fresh pasta dish and the sage ravioli is an absolute delight. There is also the penne à la pergola, with truffles. In short, fine food and good wine just a few steps from downtown Corfu. Don't forget to book, especially at weekends.

Flavors from elsewhere will take you to the Cyclades with a fava from Santorini and of course to Italy with beautiful homemade pizzas - even if you don't come for that. In spite of a nice wine list, the house wine remains attractive. As for the service, it is impeccable.

The menu also plays the card of the tradition with the classic corfiotes(sofrito, pastitsada, bourdeto...). Otherwise, the spaghetti with shrimps is perfect. Good choice of fish according to the arrivals. The service is very professional and the environment is calm. Despite the white tablecloths and the impeccable service, the prices, for the quality proposed, are very reasonable.
