MARINE MAMMAL CARE CENTER

This hospital for injured - or sick - mammals found on the coast around Los Angeles mainly cares for seals and sea lions. Accessible to the public, the center is a great opportunity to watch the animals play, squabble or protect their food from the birds that show up during fish feeding. It's also a chance to talk to the staff and learn more about the different species.
