In the part of the island not protected by the national park administration, on the Saplunara peninsula in the east of the island, you'll find a wide range of accommodation options (holiday rentals, hotel residences with swimming pool and restaurant) in an unspoilt seaside setting. The beaches of uvala Brace, Prec and Saplunara attract many visitors. However, Saplunara beach is quiet and secluded (a 20-minute walk). Ideal for families, with its fine sand, reasonable number of deckchairs and parasols and shallow waters. There's also a bar-restaurant and a number of boats at anchor.
