At 2,400 meters, it is from this point, located approximately halfway between the city of Chihuahua and the town of Los Mochis, that one of the most beautiful views of the junction between three canyons (Mirador de Piedra Volada) can be seen. The Express train stops here, where your hotel will pick you up. Those who travel with the regional train and wish to reach their hotel in Areponapuchi will prefer to get off at the Barrancas station, about ten minutes away. There you can stop for a sleep and come back the next day for longer walks. To top it all off, there are some very good hotels here, in the small village of Areponuchi or on its heights.
