Chapel with relics and family home of Saint Therese of Lisieux, opposite the Orne prefecture, open to visitors
Opposite the Orne prefecture, push open the door of the Sainte-Thérèse de Lisieux chapel, celebrating its 150th anniversary, and housing the relics of the Alençon saint beatified in 1925. The walls are lined with marble plaques in recognition of her blessings, and her birth chamber is open to visitors. Next door is a museum run by the Little Sisters of Carmélites Messagères de l'Esprit Saint, in the heart of the house founded by Louis and Zélie Martin.
