If Remich holds the nickname of the "Pearl of the Moselle", it's no coincidence! This very touristy town is also one of the main administrative and commercial centres of the region. Its town centre is particularly picturesque, with old, narrow streets and several historical relics. A little away from the main square, one should not miss to go and see the Saint-Nicolas gate and its arcade surmounted by a polychrome statue. Remich is the seat of the State Wine Institute and has some interesting wine cellars. It is also one of the most popular embarkation points for a cruise on the Moselle
