Describing itself as the "only true typical Italian trattoria" in the city center, Trattoria Il Riccio has been serving Tuscan and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine since 1992. This small Indian restaurant is only 200 meters from the central station. The interior is simple and there are only about ten tables, but the exotic decoration and the background music make the place very pleasant. The extensive menu offers specialties (some tandoori) and vegetarian dishes with, for the novices or those who fear for the integrity of their palate, a specific indication for the spiciest dishes. The food is tasty, the service is attentive and the prices are reasonable. A good address.

After several months of work caused by the floods of July 2021, Neumünster Abbey has welcomed a brand new restaurant: the Abtei brasserie, opened in September 2022. The contemporary setting is tastefully decorated (we love the velvet banquettes and seats, and the open bar). The menu features tapas, Luxembourg cuisine favourites (bouchée à la Reine, cordon bleu...) and seasonal dishes. A lunch menu (which changes every week and is very competitively priced) completes the offer.

From the moment it opened in March 2020, in the midst of a health crisis, Ryodo has succeeded in winning over Luxembourgers and establishing itself as one of the capital's top addresses! In a bright, minimalist setting, you can enjoy Japanese cuisine (don't miss the wagyu) combined with European elements (such as truffles). Its terrace, very pleasant, is appreciated and animated as soon as the weather allows it.

In the heart of the Limpertsberg, Kicheneck offers a no-frills journey through Lebanon. Don't stop at the simple appearance of the place and push the door: you won't be disappointed. Hummus, kofta, chakchouka, shawarma... The menu is composed of specialties, made with passion and mastered to perfection. Its slogan "Good & Honest Food" sums up the restaurant perfectly! The establishment does not offer alcohol, but is adept at the BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) concept: you can bring your own bottle of wine.

On the Place de Paris, a succession of restaurants and terraces... Among them, Casa España, a tapas and wine bar. In a sober but contemporary setting (the interior has been renovated), you can enjoy Spanish specialties accompanied by a jug of sangria. Onesto, it's an atmosphere, with these small intimate rooms and this listed fresco dating from 1806 and painted by the monk Abraham of the Abbey of Orval (Belgium). Basta Cosi is a warm and friendly place, housed in an attractive ^18th-century building renovated as a Tuscan villa. We love the patio with its panoramic roof, the terrace and the cosy atmosphere of the dining room. But also its many different kinds of pasta, risottos and pizzas served in generous portions and at quite reasonable prices. The wine list is also quite sophisticated. Renowned in the city center, the restaurant has a second address and a takeaway counter at 18 avenue Pasteur (Limpertsberg district).

One of the few, if not the only, café in this residential area... The Bel Air café offers good home made burgers, hearty salads as well as a fine selection of wines, beers, rums and whiskies. The particularity of the establishment: a warm atmosphere and a smiling welcome. This small vegetarian restaurant, close to Chemin de la Corniche, has been attracting diners with its tempting menu and quality service since... 1990! In 2022, Sébastien Sarra, owner of Brasserie Guillaume, opened Casa Gabriele (named in honor of his father), the temple of homemade ravioli. Stuffed with spinach or meat (but also salmon, truffles... depending on the season and the chef's whims!), they are served with one of three sauces. Simple and effective! The ravioles are also available to take away, as is the selection of delicatessen products. The cosy establishment has just a few tables, supplemented by the terrace when the weather permits: so remember to reserve your place!
