The municipality of Heinerscheid is located in the north of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, in the heart of the Natural Park of the Our and about ten kilometers from Clervaux. It is only a few kilometers from the place called Les Trois Frontières where the borders of Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany meet. Shortly before arriving by road from Clervaux, there is a huge wind farm, one of the first in Luxembourg, built in 2003. Heinerscheid is home to the Brasserie de la Vallée de l'Our, which is open for visits and tastings, a cultural center where various events are organized, and offers several walks.
