Clervaux is one of the most visited towns in the Luxembourg Ardennes. In the 17th century, the town was famous for its drapery industry and in the 18th and 19th centuries for its tanneries. Today, people come here for its abbey, its castle and the famous photographic exhibition "The Family of Man", but also for its golf course, one of the most beautiful in the country. From the road coming from Luxembourg, from the top of the plateau, one kilometer from the village, the view is breathtaking. As soon as you leave the valley of the Clerve, you find the open roughness of the Ardennes meadows, while the south and the wooded valley preserve the variety of the Oesling landscapes.
