This town has given its name to one of the most prized wines in the world, the famous "king of wines and wine of kings". Not to be missed: a visit to the Cantine dei Marchesi di Barolo and the very original Corkscrew Museum, which presents a collection of more than 500 examples from the 18th century to the present day. For the more sporty, there are various walking and hiking routes with a vineyard theme, to make the most of the area's landscapes. Starting from Barolo or going to the city from the neighbouring municipalities, these routes of about ten kilometres are to be followed, especially during the grape harvest.
