The picturesque National Park of Naračanski is a wilderness island of 115 000 hectares located in a region that Belarusians call Poozjorje, the region of lakes. A multitude of rivers, 43 lakes (the main one is Lake Narač, the largest in the country), and forests with lost sight (43% of the park's territory) punctuated by small, colourful villages lying on the water side: Here you will plunge into an atmosphere of almost unreal peace, silence interrupted only by the sounds of water, leaves and birds. This place of captivating beauty keeps the secret of the charm of Belarus, the charm of a dazzling nature that harmoniously reconciles with the discreet and respectful presence of man. In the park you will discover not only its natural beauties, but also the many hidden treasures of Belarusian villages with their Catholic and Orthodox churches. A tourist destination appreciated by the Belarusians, the park offers a vast offer of accommodation. However, if you really want to immerse yourself with the atmosphere of the park, we recommend you stay in the guest houses. The park's forests are rich in berries and mushrooms. Hunting and pay-up fishing can be done. The Information Office deals with the organisation of these activities and the sale of licences. The licences are also available in the various forest guard offices of the park.
