Follow the road to the airport, then the road to Dakhla-Boujdour, and turn right after 17 km, just before a petrol station; 2 km before arriving, you cross the small village of Foum el-Oued, then you reach Laâyoune Plage. It is a large clean beach of fine sand, lined with villas mainly occupied by the military on holiday. At the end of the seafront, on the right, an undeveloped car park welcomes camping-cars. As you walk along the cornice in the direction of the port, you will realise how abandoned the coast is. Nevertheless, the walk is very pleasant, especially at sunset.
