South of Tafraoute, a sign indicates, on the right, the rocks painted by the Belgian Jean Vérame, in 1985. The track is passable by all vehicles if driven slowly. In the middle of this deserted mountain plateau stands a series of rocks in shades of blue and red, giving the site a strange dimension. Land art enthusiasts will be delighted, others may find it harder to appreciate the work. But you will certainly not remain insensitive to this landscape where all the elements merge in perfect harmony. Many of the rocks are reminiscent of familiar shapes, such as a "Napoleon's hat".
