Sacré-Coeur, on the Saguenay Fjord, is an exceptional natural haven. This is the place to come for black bear sightings and to meet all kinds of animals that inhabit Quebec's forests. Just a few minutes north on Route 172, the village of Anse de Roche (part of Sacré-Coeur) is well worth a visit. Surrounded by the Marine Park and the Fjord-du-Saguenay National Park, the scenery is breathtaking. Less well known to tourists, Anse de Roche is a quiet spot where you can stroll along the fjord, drink a beer at the local microbrewery and/or sleep in a tree house.
