The commune of Genthod is located on the right bank of Lake Geneva, in the north-east of the canton of Geneva, between Bellevue and Versoix. Lost in the middle of fields and woods, a large number of walks are offered to walkers. The town is rich in old buildings dating from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, which give the town its allure. Its location on the shores of Lake Geneva makes it an enviable destination that has also pleased celebrities such as the Emperor of Japan, Ronald Reagan, Mikhail Gorbachev, Jacques Chirac and Yasser Arafat. It is also home to the prestigious Franck Muller watchmaking factory. A romantic stopover to look forward to.
