Travel Guide Mitsinjo

About 5 h from Mahajanga, crossing in the enclosed ferry. To the south-west of Katsepy, continuing the trail, shortly after crossing the river Mahavavy, you reach Mitsinjo, a pretty small town, registered in a natural environment. For accommodation (accommodation in the living room) and catering, contact the central hardware and Hotely Salana, which serves very good Malagasy meals. From Mitsinjo you can reach the lakes, and in particular the lake of Kinkony where, in the middle of a very calm nature, the fishermen move slowly through the water. Wildlife is interesting: sifakas, flamingos pink, crocodiles, birds and reptiles.
