This spa center for rehabilitation is located in the winding valley of the lower Timok area, close to the main Zajecar-Paracin road, under the influence of the continental microclimate. In 1978, the modern hospital was then built, specialized in the rehabilitation of peripheral vascular diseases (traffic disorders, peripheral blood vessel diseases, etc.), which also deals with connective tissue diseases, joint disorders, orthopedic diseases, post traumatic conditions, neurological diseases, gynecological diseases.… The hospital has two indoor pools of mineral water (one big for adults and another for children) surrounded by an impressive mosaic wall, work of the Academician Srbinovic. Mineral water rich in minerals is used for galvanic baths, and for massages under water spray. The hospital uses the latest devices and electrotherapy (galvanic, exponential, high frequency, microwave and diathermie, ultrasound, etc.). Phototherapy is done by UV lamps.
