Travel Guide Jošanička Banja (Јошаничка Бања)

In the middle of the mountains, there is a very interesting small spa before the entrance to the national park. Jošanićka Banja is located at an altitude of 60 m and its waters vary between 36 °C and 78 °C. The water flows from the high mountains and its vapors are clearly visible: you can walk in the small garden on the bank of the river Jošanica and help yourself directly at the spring. A special feature of this tiny village is the monument to Milenka Savić, known throughout Serbia for having fought with the French Army of the East during the First World War. Disguised as a boy, she became a hero and was decorated by France for her contribution to the victory.
