Eleven kilometers from the village of Ušće, in the direction of Ivanjica, is the most architecturally interesting, but also probably the most prestigious monastery in Serbia. You have to turn right at the entrance to Ušće coming from the north, the monastery is indicated just after a gas pump. One of the oldest and largest Serbian medieval monasteries, Studenica is a cultural immovable property of the Republic of Serbia and a cultural monument of exceptional importance. Unesco included it in 1986 in the list of the World Heritage of Humanity, making it one of the few classified sites on its territory.
